FBH empowers households to achieve financial stability, resilience, and independence through skills, livelihoods, and community-based economic programs.

Implementation models

Group-based savings and loans programs improve household income, financial literacy, and resilience to economic shocks.

Vulnerable adolescent girls and women receive vocational training aligned with market demand, complemented by mentorship and employer connections, fostering sustainable micro and small enterprises (MSMEs).

We conduct training on urban/peri-urban agriculture aimed at promoting small-scale food production to improve HH access to nutrition, generate small income, and enhance household food security.

English and Kiswahili literacy classes for refugees improve social integration, employability, and access to public services.

We link youth to practical work experience in local MSMEs and organizations to enhance their skills and long-term employability.
