What We Do
Our work is guided by a commitment to advancing gender equality, social justice, and sustainable community transformation. We focus our efforts through the following Change Arenas, Accelerators, and Enablers.
Family Bridge of Hope (FBH) is committed to fostering safe, resilient, and empowered communities, serving both Kenyans and refugees. Our programs operate across four interrelated thematic areas: Ending Violence Against Women and Girls/Men (EVAWG/M), Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Economic Empowerment and Household Resilience (EE&HHR), and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), supported by Governance and Advocacy as a cross-cutting approach. All interventions are grounded in evidence-based, community-centered models designed to heal, skill, and empower individuals while ensuring inclusivity and sustainable impact.
Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG)
We work to create safe, respectful, and just communities where women and girls live free from all forms of violence.
We promote mental and emotional well-being and healing as a foundation for empowerment and recovery.
We ensure that young women, girls, and youth can make informed choices about their bodies and futures.
We empower women, youth, and SGBV survivors to achieve economic independence and build stronger households.
We champion inclusive governance, accountability, and policy reforms that amplify women’s and youth voices.
